The birds!

Got back from West Wales on Sunday and the weather was beautiful and the tide was out …. So within half an hour of getting home I was back out on the trails.Β  An easy seven miles down to Witches point.

Lots of fisherman – They must be biting or some such fishing jargon

There were unusual numbers of seagulls on Wick reef – Never seen this many together before.

Millions of the bastards

Which I enjoyed making flap about as I ran towards them

This lot stood their ground – So I left them to it

  1. My mum used to say that you could tell when it was stormy at sea because all the seagulls came inland. That and the lure of the landfill siteπŸ˜†πŸ˜† love my hills but I do have a teeny bit of beach envy!

    1. I think this lot were having the seagull equivalent of a day off. Just hanging around looking suspicious. Best thing about the UK is that you’re never more than a few hours drive from the coast – make a day of it!
