I completely forgot to blog sundays recovery run …. Which definitely felt like a recovery run as starting off things were certainly stiff and aching from 13 miles on saturday. After the usual First Two Miles of Complete Ass ™ though everything loosened up and I enjoyed another seven or so.
Plus random finds!

And more rusted ironwork from ship wreckage. I’m not sure what part of a ship this would be.

It was of course beautiful and so worth the painful First Two Miles of Complete Ass ™
So you mutated into a weekend warrior.
That’s a whole lot of miles!
The leg scared me … Might be because I’ve been playing the forest again … didn’t know you had mutants over there though.
My best guess for the rusty bit: The shipwreck part is a gate!

It’s off season remember! These are for pleasure not training! Yeah people said “You should have brought it back” but it creeped me out a bit

It’s super creepy as I wonder what happened to the person it belongs to. You just don’t loose a leg or do you? Maybe it was the spare leg?

I was thinking that myself. Judging by the old school buckles it was an old one. I prefer driftwood

Lol! The leg reminded me of one of my patients who after having a breast reconstruction took her old prosthesis on holiday with her. She wrote a message on the false boobie, a pink jelly like silicone thing, ‘ bye bye to breast cancer’ and threw it from a cliff into the deep blue sea. It didn’t sink. 😆😆😆 she said that it looked like a bald head bobbing in the sea and she was worried that someone would phone in to the coastguard for rescue! So there might be a happy story behind that leg😊
